Connecting Apple Calendar
Reading the calendars already on your iPhone or Android phone into Blue, from the mobile app (Pro).
If your calendar lives in iCloud, or in any app that syncs to your phone's built-in calendar, Blue can read it without a Google account. The connection is made from the Life Framework mobile app, because the calendars live on the phone.
Connecting
Open the app, go to Integrations, then Apps, and tap Connect on the Apple Calendar card (on Android the card is called Device calendar). Your phone asks whether Life Framework may read your calendars. Allow it, and the app sends your events to Blue right away.
If you declined the permission earlier, the card opens your phone's Settings so you can turn it on there.
Choosing calendars
Tap Configure on the card to pick which calendars Blue reads. Subscribed calendars such as holidays and birthdays start switched off; the rest start on. You can change the selection at any time.
What Blue can do
Blue reads these events the same way it reads Google Calendar events: they appear in Rhythms, in your daily guidance, and in chat when you ask about your day. Blue does not create, move, or delete events on your phone's calendars. Ask Blue to add something and it will use a connected Google Calendar instead.
How quickly changes sync
The app reads your phone's calendar each time you open it, and again while you use it, at most once every ten minutes. Blue sees a new event the next time you open the app. Google Calendar updates arrive without opening the app; Apple Calendar updates need the app opened.
On the web
The web portal shows the Apple Calendar card with the name of the phone it came from and the number of calendars synced. Connecting and choosing calendars happen in the mobile app.
The tier
Reading your phone's calendars is part of Pro, like every app integration. During the 14-day trial you have full access. Disconnecting the card deletes the stored events for that phone from our servers.
