Getting help

Email support, the Help row in the app, safety lines, and what to check when something looks stuck.

Reaching support

Email [email protected]. Include the address on your account and a short note of what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A real person reads every message.

In the app, open your avatar in the header, then Account. Under Help, Help Center opens these articles and Contact support opens an email to us. On the web, the Help entry in the navigation does the same.

Safety

Teal is a companion, not therapy, medical care, or a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, reach real help: call 911 (US), call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (US), the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 (US), or find a line for your country at findahelpline.com. The same list sits under Safety on the Account screen.

When something looks stuck

"This invitation was sent to a different address." Sign in with the address your lead invited. The link is good; the account is the wrong one.

"This invitation has expired." Ask your lead for a new one.

"This team is at its seat limit." Your lead can add seats on the web. The app has nothing to buy.

"This team is not active yet." Your organization's seats are not active, so sending is paused. Your lead handles this on the web.

No Mirror yet. It arrives for everyone at once, after your lead closes the preview window and runs it. A lead who sees "Close the preview window first" has one step left.

Your session expired. Sign back in and you pick up where you left off.

The app looks stale. Sign out and back in, or update it from the App Store.
