Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord

Connecting a messenger, choosing your primary channel, and how the one shared conversation thread works.

You don't have to open an app to talk to Blue. Connect a messenger and Blue comes to you where you already are — Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord. This works on every plan.

Connecting a messenger

Open Integrations and pick the messenger you want. On the web, Integrations lives in the header menu rather than the main navigation; on mobile it's a screen you reach from settings. Each one links in its own way:

  • Telegram — the richest surface. Alongside chat you get the guided tools as mini-apps and handy commands like /settings.
  • WhatsApp — message Blue like any other contact.
  • Discord — talk to Blue in a direct message, or @-mention it.

One conversation, everywhere

This is the part that surprises people: it's all the same Blue. Whether you type in the web portal, the mobile app, or any connected messenger, you're adding to a single continuous thread with one shared memory. Start a thought on WhatsApp at lunch, pick it up in the app that evening — Blue remembers, because there's only ever one conversation.

Your primary messenger

When you connect more than one — or when Blue needs to reach out to you — it needs to know where to send messages. That's your primary messenger. Blue uses it for replies to things you started on the web, and for reminders and proactive nudges.

This matters more than it sounds. If you ask Blue to remind you about something, that reminder is delivered to your primary messenger — and if no messenger is connected, there's nowhere for it to land, so it won't arrive. There's no email fallback for reminders. So if you want Blue to reliably reach you, connect at least one messenger and set it as your primary. You can choose it from Integrations or your notification settings.

A note on availability

Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord are the messengers Blue supports today. If you see other options in an early or stubbed state, they aren't functional yet — stick with these three for now.

If Blue's messages aren't reaching your messenger, see Troubleshooting common issues.
