Privacy and your data

Blue only works because it remembers. That means it keeps a real record of your life with it — so it's worth being clear about what that record is, who can see it, and how you stay in control of it.

What Blue stores

The things you'd expect from a companion that remembers:

• Your conversation history — everything you and Blue have said, across every channel
• Your Persona (the Living Profile) and your Life Vision
• Your daily guidance, reviews, and the story on your Evolution timeline
• Voice notes, photos, and documents you send in chat
• Data from any apps you connect — your Google Calendar events, Todoist tasks, or Notion pages

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it is never sold. Blue uses it to be your companion — not as a product to sell on.

Who can see it

By default, no one but you. Blue's picture of you is private to your account.

The one exception is sharing you turn on yourself. From your insights, you can create a read-only link to share a snapshot — say, with a coach or a friend. When you make one, you choose which sections it includes and set how long it stays live before it expires. Whoever has the link sees only that snapshot, and only until it lapses. You can leave it off entirely; nothing is shared unless you make a link.

Correcting what Blue knows

If Blue has something wrong about you, the way to fix it is to tell Blue directly, in chat. Your Life Vision you can also edit yourself — ratify, release, or add elements right in the panel.

Your Persona works differently: it's built from evidence in your conversations and re-tended overnight, so there's no in-place edit button. Say what's off, and Blue folds the correction in on its next nightly pass rather than the instant you say it. See Your Living Profile for how that evidence model works.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time from Account — look for the danger zone at the bottom of the settings. Deletion removes your data, with most of it cleared within 30 days.

If you'd rather step down than leave, downgrading is safe: moving to a lower plan — or letting your trial lapse to Free — never deletes anything. Your history, Vision, and Persona all stay readable. See Managing your subscription.
