Starting a team

For leads: the guided setup on the web, mission first, then invitations, and what the phone shows you that members do not see.

A team starts on the web at teams.activatedhuman.earth. You name it, and the guided setup opens. If your organization booked a pilot, the team's space was set up when the pilot was booked, and signing in makes it yours.

Four moves, in order

Declare your mission. A guided session with Teal, about thirty minutes, on what this team is for in your own words, plus its values, goals, and how you work. Every member's companion coaches with it, and every member can read it. This happens on the web; the phone shows the mission once it is declared.

Invite your team. Each person gets their own invitation and their own private room. Setup progress shows counts, never who: how many joined, how many invitations are pending, how many work profiles are finished.

Deep dives. Each person has one private conversation with Teal and gets their own work profile first. See Your room and your work profile.

Close the window, then the Mirror. Open the preview window so everyone can review their own contributions, close it, and run the Mirror. The whole team reads the same page at the same time.

Seats

The organization buys seats on the web. Members join their seat with the invitation, and the phone app has nothing to buy.

What the phone shows a lead

The app looks the same for a lead and a member: Companion, Signals, Mirror. Two things are added. An inbox glyph in the header, where asks your members sent with a name or without one arrive, framed by Teal before you read them. And in This team, the sheet behind the header menu: invite a teammate, open or close the preview window, run the Team Mirror, and the setup checklist. Neither adds a view into anyone's room.
