The Companion tab

The Companion tab is your room: a conversation with Teal, scoped to your team. Teal knows the mission, values, and goals your lead declared, and it works for you. Talk through the week, the thing you keep running into, where your energy went. Teal remembers, asks the next question, and helps you find the words.

Three starters sit under the greeting on a fresh day: "Where my energy went this week", "Something I keep running into", and "What I would change if I could". You can type, or send a voice note or a photo.

Venting stays here. Nothing in this conversation reaches your team unless you turn it into an ask and send it yourself. See How an ask travels.

The deep dive

Above the composer, a row reads Start your work profile. It opens one conversation with Teal about your work: what you care about, where your strengths sit, what gives you energy and what takes it, and where the mission meets you or misses you. Take it at your own pace. When you are done, tap Finish and read your profile. Teal writes the report and it appears as a card in the thread.

The report is private

Your work profile is served to your seat alone. It carries a "Private to you" mark, and you can reopen it any time from This team, under Your work profile. Your lead does not see it. Neither do your teammates.

What the team can get from a deep dive is a set of themes about the work, pooled with everyone else's into the Team Mirror. You see exactly which themes before they land, and you can pull any of them. See The Team Mirror.
