Is HeartWeave therapy?
No. What HeartWeave is instead, what it will never claim to do, and when a licensed human is the right call.
No. HeartWeave is not therapy, not counseling, and not a substitute for either. It is a communication and reflection space: a private room for each person, and a shared space with a mediator that hears both sides and never takes one.
What that means concretely: HeartWeave does not diagnose anything, does not treat trauma, addiction, or mental-health conditions, and is not a crisis service. Those are the work of licensed humans, and when they are what you need, a licensed human is the right call. The long-form comparison, including what therapy does that we will not attempt and what a tool can do that a weekly session cannot, is at HeartWeave vs couples therapy.
HeartWeave alongside therapy is a configuration we designed for: structure between sessions, with a clinician inside them.
If you are in crisis right now, or there is violence or fear in your relationship: in the US, call or text 988, or reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline at thehotline.org. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists local services. HeartWeave also surfaces these resources in-product when things are beyond it.
