Voice notes, photos, and files

Speak instead of type, share photos and PDFs, and what the assistant does with each. Replies are always text.

Not everything you want to say fits neatly into typed sentences. HeartWeave lets you speak instead of type and share images and documents, in both your private room and the shared space.

Speaking instead of typing

You can record a voice note rather than type. When you do, HeartWeave transcribes what you said into text, and the conversation carries on from there. Talking out loud is often the easier way to get at something tangled, especially in your private room when you're working through a feeling before you've found the words for it.

The transcription becomes part of the conversation just as if you'd typed it, so everything else, memory and nightly weaving, works the same way.

Photos and PDFs

You can share photos and PDF documents in chat. A photo of something you want to talk about, a page from something you're reading, a document you're both trying to make a decision about. The assistant can take these in and discuss them with you as part of the conversation.

Share whatever helps the conversation be about the real thing rather than a description of it.

Replies always come back as text

One thing to be plain about: the assistant answers in text, always. You can talk to it out loud, but it writes back rather than speaking. There's no voice output today, in either room. So voice is a way for you to get thoughts in easily; the reply lands as something you can read.

In both rooms, with the wall intact

Voice, photos, and files work the same way whether you're in your private room or the shared space. And the boundary between them holds exactly as it does for typed messages: a voice note you record in your private room is as private as anything else you write there. Nothing from your private room, spoken or typed, is shown to other members. See the wall between private and shared for the full picture.

What sticks around

Whatever you send lives inside the conversation you sent it in, and gets folded into the nightly summaries like the rest of your history. So a photo you shared last week is still part of the context when you return. For how that overnight work happens, see nightly weaving.
