Twelve languages on web and phone, your own language for your room and menus, and one language for each space.
HeartWeave speaks twelve languages, on the web and in the iPhone and Android apps. Two settings decide which one you hear: your own language, and the language of each space.
The twelve
English, German, Ukrainian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
Translations outside English are newer than the English and are still being refined. If a line reads oddly in your language, tell us at [email protected].
Your language
You pick your language at the welcome step, the first thing HeartWeave asks. You can change it any time in Profile Settings.
Your language drives everything that is yours alone: every menu and screen, what the guide says to you in your private room, My map, your reminders and check-ins, and the morning message.
The space's language
Each space has its own language, set in This space. Any member can change it. It drives what the guide says in the shared room and what Our mirror is written in, so everyone in the space reads the same words.
The two can differ. You might read your menus and your private room in German while the space you share with your partner runs in English. Thread titles follow the same rule: your private threads are titled in your language, the shared thread in the space's.
The guide's voice
Replies read aloud use the voice you picked for the guide. See Voice, photos and files for the eight voices and how to choose one. The voice is chosen per space in This space, and only you hear it.
Where to change things
- Your language: at welcome, or Profile Settings, Language.
- The space's language: This space, Language. Any member.
- Your timezone, which sets when reminders and the morning message arrive: Profile Settings, Timezone.
Your language is a setting on your account, so the web and the phone read the same choice.
